Queenslanders use over 3 billion beverage containers annually, but many millions are still not being recycled. Containers for Change needed a way to streamline the recycling process, make their container refund scheme more accessible and help thousands more Queenslanders keep our state beautiful.

Everyone is familiar with home delivery for food and drinks, but what if the used drink containers could be returned to be recycled? We partnered with Containers for Change to conceptualise, design and deliver Container Collect, a home collection service for containers.

Offering a 10-cent reward for every returned bottle or can, the service has made a significant impact with over 35 million containers collected since its inception in 2021 and a total of 99,000 home collections booked. From the intuitive booking system to the seamless pick-up process, managed by Containers for Change’s operator network, every detail has been designed to make returning easier.
